This is one of the main reasons why it is important that electricians have continuous training in their jobs
(1) Protection against lightning - Physical damage to structures and life hazard
This Course deals with SANS 10313 and SANS 62305 part 1/2/3/4
(2) Training of Electrical Wireman's (Click Here for Document -Department of Labour REGISTRATION CRITERIA)
To become a Registered Person as Single phase / Installation (3 Phase) or Master Electrician.
Our practical training programs gets you there.
Assessor/Moderator will assess you on the following :
a) Inspection
b) Testing (Understanding test applicable to the electrical installation)
c) Understanding the SANS 10142-1 and Occupational Health -Safety Act applicable to the electrical installation.
d) Photo session and Test
Practical Onsite Assesment
a. Inspection (You conduct during an inspection as per inspection manual on your CD)
b. Testing ( You conduct the test on electrical installation)
c. Your implementation to SANS 10142-1 and Occupational Health -Safety Act applicable to the electrical installation.
3) Electric Fence Training
a. Install Electric Fencing
b. Demonstrate an understanding of Electric Fencing
c. Apply cabling methods/Configure an installation

Registered Persons open themselves to unwarranted responsibility and costs for rectification work which may not be necessary.
Registered Persons have run foul of the law in many cases not as a result of any malicious act, but because industry has failed in training them to understand the law and interpret it accordingly.
We also believe that by uplifting these skills, legitimate contractors will be able to obtain more contracting work by understanding how to protect themselves when requested to perform only certain installation work on non-compliant electrical installations.
